- Client Engagement:
- Identify and target potential clients in the cybersecurity sector.
- Initiate contact with prospective clients through cold calls, emails, and networking.
- Conduct in-depth discussions with clients to understand their specific cybersecurity challenges and requirements.
- Articulate the value proposition of the company's cybersecurity products and services.
- Customise product demonstrations and presentations to showcase how the solutions meet client needs.
- Address client inquiries and objections with technical expertise, ensuring a clear understanding of the proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with the pre-sales and technical teams to create tailored proposals, including pricing and service agreements.
- Ensure proposals align with client expectations and industry best practices.
- Follow up with clients to answer questions and provide additional information as needed.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering cybersecurity insights and recommendations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in cybersecurity regulations and standards.
- Set and achieve sales targets and goals as defined by the organisation.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
- Provide regular reports on sales progress, forecasts, and market feedback to the sales management team.
- Collaborate with the pre-sales and post-sales teams to ensure seamless client on-boarding and satisfaction.
- Work closely with the marketing team to understand and leverage marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity products, services, and industry trends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them in a clear, non-technical manner.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
