Finance Sales Executive
Location:
Chester, UK
Salary:
£30,000-£40,000 basic plus commission
The Company:
A UK-based, FCA-regulated, Hybrid Lender that provides capital to support SMEs and mid-sized businesses through flexible lending products. With a team of 150 specialists, the company manages a loan portfolio exceeding £500 million and has originated £1.5 billion in assets since 2018. They offer loans and asset finance to SMEs via both direct and broker channels, with an average transaction size of around £50,000.
Job Role:
The Direct Sales team aims to increase new business, identify external opportunities, and maximise in-house cross-selling. The Sales Executive will generate sales opportunities from new and existing data, manage inbound inquiries, and pursue all available sales opportunities both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Present the company to potential clients, mainly via phone
• Convert sales opportunities from the lead generation team and marketing platforms
• Generate new business through CRM data
• Develop client relationships by providing excellent customer service
• Meet productivity and sales targets set by the company
• Ensure compliance with FCA conduct rules
• Maintain a sales pipeline and complete necessary administration in internal systems
• Create and manage client quotes and proposals
• Contribute positively to the team environment
Experience Required:
• 12-24 months of experience in a high-performing sales environment
• Experience in financial services (Insurance, Lending, Brokering, B2B) is advantageous
• Salesforce experience preferred but not essential
• Computer literacy and eagerness to learn
