Sales Manager
On-site/ Hybrid / Remote
Salary: £45K-£80K + double OTE uncapped
My Client:
The business has grown stupendously over the last 20 years, to one of the regions longest standing and experienced MSP's. They have a great track record with local businesses and selling into multiple sectors.
There is a rare opportunity for the right person to join the management team and help drive their business to the next level. They are now ready for the next stage of scaling their fabulous business. You would be reporting directly to the MD, updating him on all thing's strategy, targets, performance, and team morale.
The Role:
It's essential that you will have experience within the Technology Products and Services Sectors. My client needs someone that can hit the ground running, while receiving coaching and support from the team around you. There is a significant amount of experience in their sales team, and you will work closely with the MD and Technical Director to get your feet comfortably under the table.
My client has created a culture of collaboration between the sales and technical teams, helping each other to strive and achieve consistent success.
In this role you will have the power to influence the processes, strategies, team setup and manage the overall effort for the sales and marketing function. Ultimately, ensuring revenue and profitability for the business.
My client has a fairly small team, with real family culture. It does mean that you still need to be hands-on and sell yourself whilst guiding the team to success.
They are looking for:
- MUST have minimum 4' years experience working within a IT reseller or MSP environment
- Results driven (Lead Generation and Sales Targets)
- A hunter personality type
- Good planning skills and the ability to implement the plans
- Possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Great organisation skills, detail oriented and a self-starter
- Ability to work closely with the MD to help achieve the business goals
- Understanding of how to generate leads, personally, but also guiding the business development team members and marketing too
- You must have a driving license and be prepared to travel to customer meetings and events
