Our client is an exciting start up Telecoms business founded by a leadership team with extensive experience in the UK telecoms and major infrastructure sectors. Their mission is to build a high-speed fibre network providing fibre for all. They trade with communication providers and enable them to offer a range of services to their subscribers. This includes a 1GigBit internet access service.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation, submission and updating of Street works notices in compliance with current legislation.
  • Monitor client systems to deliver client specific requirements if required.
  • Communicate with operational staff to identify critical areas of delivery.
  • Receive and record data onto work management systems.
  • Supply updates to Management in various forms of communication to ensure Management satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance to both the contract and NRSWA and report any non-compliance issues where appropriate by escalation to the Team Leader
  • Update management systems within specified timescales and deliverables within the contract requirements.
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure all projects have the appropriate paperwork and notices in place for works to begin.

Skills Experience & Qualifications

  • Must have performed a similar role in a major infrastructure/capital build programme
  • Experience of building strong relationships both within an organisation and with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers
  • Demonstrate personal flexibility and mobility
  • Computer literate and able to use conventional MS Office software suite of tools
  • Understanding of NRSWA compliance procedures
