Our client was established several years ago and is today is recognised as a prominent UK supplier/ wholesaler to GPs, Clinic and Hospitals, Distributing over 10,000 branded consumables and equipment, our client is also a leading manufacturer of over 1300+ of their own brand label supply lines including everyday consumables

Reporting to the Head of Sales and working alongside Sales and Customer Service, we are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to contribute in generating sales for the business. You should have a professional and confident telephone manner with the ability to sell and close deals over the phone.

  • Contact potential customers to inform them about products and offers
  • Answer questions about products or the company
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
  • Ensure all leads are contacted in a timely manner , maximising all opportunities to sell
  • Prospect and proactively make outbound calls, selling the company's products and services
  • Ensure minimum sales conversion rates, SLA'S and the required ROI levels are achieved

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 Proven years experience as a Sales / telesales representative
  • Target driven with a proven track record of successfully meeting sales target preferably over the phone
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Ability to self-manage and follow-up to ensure ongoing communication and engagement
  • Numerate with attention to detail and accurate data input skills
  • Desire and driven to "go the extra mile" to meet sales target and facilitate future sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
