Business Development Representative - CCAAS / SAAS - Remote
Job description
Our client is a leading provider of CCaaS solutions / PCI DSS Compliant payment solutions, due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to help achieve the commercial objectives of the company. The BDR will have end-to-end sales responsibility for certain opportunities and will assist in successfully setting up other members of the NA Sales team to close other opportunities.
Reporting to the EVP of North American Sales, the Sales / Business Development Representative will coordinate with Marketing and the rest of the sales team to ensure all activities are properly tracked and monitored in the CRM and strive to convert as many leads as possible into qualified sales opportunities.
The BDR will
- Represent our company's products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
- Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and keep them engaged through the sales process
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
- Identify best practices to refine the company's lead generation playbook
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Utilize the Netsuite CRM platform, Hubspot Marketing Automation platform, as well as cold calling and email campaigns to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market via campaigns, warm lead follow-up and outbound contact into our target verticals
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
- Report to sales manager with daily weekly and monthly performance KPI's
Experience
- Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
- Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle
- Technically literate with good organizational skills
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization, * Prior experience as a sales business development rep with a track record of achieving sales targets
