Business Sales Manager - B2B Telecoms / ISP
Job description
Our client is a growing telecoms / ISP and is now planning a major fibre to the property (FTTP) build programme across communities in the East of England.
This role is responsible for leading and managing a team of Business Managers whose task is to seek new business opportunities - B2B, Resellers, and Housing Developers.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment of new Business Managers into the team
- Educate, Coach and mentor the team on an ongoing basis
- Be responsible for, and manage, team's sales performance and coach/manage accordingly
- Ensure team's performance is in line, if not ahead, of company targets and expectations
- Identify and approach new business opportunity
- Attend Business seminars, workshops and conferences to build the brand name
- Negotiate new contracts to maximise value and margins
- Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure the Business Team have the tools they need.
- Produce presentations and customer proposals
- Regular reporting to DoS on team performance
Experience:
- Successful track record in Sales management
- Extensive Sales Coaching and development
- 2 years or more telecommunications Business sales experience or similar
- Networking and telephony sales experience such as leased lines and VOIP
