Cyber Sales Consultant
Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The Cyber Sales Consultant plays a vital role in driving revenue growth for the company by actively engaging with potential clients, understanding their cyber security needs, and recommending tailored solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cyber security products and services, excellent communication skills, and a strong aptitude for building and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities:
1.Client Engagement:
• Identify and target potential clients in the cyber security sector.
• Initiate contact with prospective clients through cold calls, email's, and networking.
• Conduct in-depth discussions with clients to understand their specific cyber security challenges and requirements.
2.Solution Presentation:
• Articulate the value proposition of the company's cyber security products and services.
• Customise product demonstrations and presentations to showcase how the solutions meet client needs.
• Address client inquiries and objections with technical expertise, ensuring a clear understanding of the proposed solutions.
3.Proposal Development:
• Collaborate with the pre-sales and technical teams to create tailored proposals, including pricing and service agreements.
• Ensure proposals align with client expectations and industry best practices.
• Follow up with clients to answer questions and provide additional information as needed.
4.Relationship Building:
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering cyber security insights and recommendations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in cyber security regulations and standards.
5.Sales Targets and Reporting:
• Set and achieve sales targets and goals as defined by the organisation.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
• Provide regular reports on sales progress, forecasts, and market feedback to the sales management team.
6.Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with the pre-sales and post-sales teams to ensure seamless client on-boarding and satisfaction.
• Work closely with the marketing team to understand and leverage marketing initiatives and campaigns
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Proven track record in sales, preferably in the cyber security industry.
• In-depth knowledge of cyber security products, services, and industry trends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them in a clear, non-technical manner.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytical tools.
• Industry certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
