Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Parts Advisor to support daily enquiries and orders related to agricultural and specialist vegetable machinery parts.
Reporting to the Parts & Retail Manager, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service-whether in person, by phone, or via email-ensuring customers and technicians receive accurate information and efficient order processing.
Key Responsibilities
• Respond to day-to-day customer and technician queries regarding machinery parts
• Process, dispatch, and manage customer orders efficiently
• Provide outstanding customer service across face-to-face, telephone, and email interactions
• Assist with general retail and showroom duties as required
• Maintain a professional, helpful, and friendly approach at all times
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact diplomatically and professionally
• Good knowledge of agricultural and specialist vegetable machinery
• Enjoy working with the general public and delivering excellent service
• Understanding of relevant machinery products
• Experience in a retail or showroom environment (desirable)
• Ability to work well in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure
• Confident using computers, email, and the internet
• High level of numeracy and literacy
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling cash and card payments
• A team player who can also work independently
• Self-motivated and able to use initiative
• Smart, presentable appearance
• Motivated by achieving sales and meeting targets
