Our client is an exciting start up Telecoms business founded by a leadership team with extensive experience in the UK telecoms and major infrastructure sectors. Their mission is to build a high-speed fibre network providing fibre for all. They trade with communication providers and enable them to offer a range of services to their subscribers. This includes a 1GigBit internet access service

The Role

Working with the Leadership team to advise on existing Regulatory positions, providing detailed and knowledgeable insight into the developments surrounding the Government Gigabit Broadband Scheme and how this will contribute towards future strategy.

  • Obtain in-depth understanding through fact finding methods of all existing and future policies surrounding the Government Gigabit Programme
  • Provide advice and guidance to the business on regulatory position and policy changes
  • Interpret new policies and understand impact to the business
  • Provide advisory oversight on regulatory change projects
  • Play active role in strengthening relationships with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
  • Understand in detail the existing process and help to shape the policy in line with the future strategy and customer needs
  • Regularly reporting on developments, changes and public announcements to the business
