Service Manager
We're looking for a Service Manager to join our clients branch in Suffolk. You'll be leading a busy team, keeping customers happy, and making sure technicians deliver top-quality repairs on agricultural and horticultural machinery.
What you'll do:
·Run the Service Department day-to-day
·Keep the team organised, motivated, and productive
·Look after customer relationships and manage expectations
·Keep an eye on budgets, reports, and performance
·Make sure communication flows smoothly between customers, techs, and management
What we're looking for:
·Experience with agricultural or horticultural machinery (a bonus but not essential)
·Previous management or supervisory experience in a busy environment
·Strong people skills - confident dealing with staff and customers
·Good with numbers and reporting
·Organised, proactive, and able to juggle tasks under pressure
·Clear communicator, both written and verbal
·Someone who can stay calm, discreet, and professional in tricky situations
·Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
