Field Service Engineer - Industrial Cleaning Equipment
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of LPG and electrically powered industrial cleaning machines. The role involves both reactive fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
You will work closely with customers and internal teams, adhering strictly to manufacturer guidelines, company policies, and health & safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
·Service, maintain, and repair LPG and electric industrial cleaning machines
·Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
·Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
·Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
·Deliver a high standard of customer service on-site
·Accurately complete service reports and documentation
·Manage workload independently while meeting service schedules
Candidate Requirements
·Relevant technical or engineering qualifications (or equivalent experience)
·Previous experience in a field service or similar engineering role
Strong understanding of:
·Mechanical systems
·Electrical systems
·Hydraulic principles
·Ability to work independently and under pressure
·Good time management and organisational skills
·Full UK driving licence
