Our client is a growing FMCG organisation that incorporates Direct delivery, Cash & Carry & Wholesale, these global bands specialists have a wealth of experience when it comes to the distribution of FMCG products. Their large portfolio includes soft drinks, beer/wine & spirits, confectionery, snacks, British groceries, speciality foods, hygiene solutions, personal, kitchen and homecare products.

Due to continued success in the department along with new structure we are now seeking a Sales Order Clark to join the team. Duties will include.

• Covering Sales Calls in absences of colleagues when required
• Organising Deliveries
• Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
• Communicate with Customers and Suppliers
• Utilise office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc. and computers
• Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail (envelopes, packages, etc.)
• Undertake office tasks
• Perform other office duties as assigned
• Support other colleagues in coordinating customer orders and production plans

Experience Required

• Candidate must have experience working within an office environment
• Previous experience within FMCG would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Very good organisational and multi-tasking abilities
• Good numeracy skills
• A fast learner
• Ability to work as a team and alone on tasks
• Working knowledge of office devices and processes
• A fast and accurate typist
